BSU stay one goal behind Varazdin in the first friendly match of 2020
After enjoying holidays back home in China, players of Handball Club Beijing Sport University have spent one week in Lipik preparing for handball challenges awaiting in 2020. The team spent full seven days building endurance and stamina to test those only a few days later upon their arrival back in Zagreb.
In the first friendly match of 2020, Beijing SU encountered GRK Varazdin in Zagreb's Kutija sibica hall on Wednesday, January 15. Vlado Sola's players stayed a single goal behind Croatia's Premier League participant with the final whistle setting Wednesday's result to 31:32 in favor of Varazdin.
Wang X. started as the most successful in 2020 scoring 8 goals, as well as Vujovic, who also scored 8 on the other side of the court.
New practice matches are scheduled for Saturday as Beijing Sport University are expecting to meet two opponents on the weekend.
